Someone would have to take a plasma cutter to the 300ZX bell housing to remove it from the transmission, make an adapter plate out of aluminum to fit on the T56, and weld them together BUT, (here's where it gets tricky) they would have to measure between the transmission's shaft and the flywheel to make sure that it meets the 300ZX's specs BUT, you would have to use a clutch compatible for the T56 since the shaft on the T56 has a different diameter and tooth size on it's shaft. That means that you would have to use the specs between the shaft and the flywheel of whatever takes the T56 stock (corvette, Camaro SS etc.) BUT, the T56 clutch probably doesn't bolt up to the 300ZX flywheels and the flywheels for the cars with the T56 will probably not bolt up to our crankshaft. DOH!!! And where could you find a flywheel that will bolt up to our crankshaft, be the right size for the clutch, AND be the right outer diameter to use the 300ZX starter location and tooth size??? Double DOH!!!! Oh, and don't forget the making the tranny mounts, machining new linkages, and that custom driveshaft! The stock 5 Speed doesn't sound so bad now does it? =)
